THREE SEPARATE VIEWS OF THE ARMILLARY SPHERE IN SCOTSCRAIG GARDENS, KEITH

This Armillary sphere was commissioned by the  Keith and District Heritage Group.
It was positioned here on Thursday 10th August 2006 after a short ceremony. Recent work
involved the placing of a circle of stones on the ground to represent the hours. Some work needs
to be done yet to finalise the project since the ultimate aim is for the sphere to act as a sundial.
