On a clear frosty night on Monday 23rd January 2012 at 1915 these 2 shots were taken,
clearly showing work ongoing assembling the turbines at the Hill of Towie. Making
use of the good weather for this time of year the work goes on to catch up on delays
when the weather was not so good. This picture was taken from 5 miles away but
clearly shows the crane and the base of another turbine in place courtesy of the
powerful floodlights and the very clear air of the frosty evening.

After many years of campaigning the Fochabers bypass was officially opened today (31-01-12)
approximately four months ahead of schedule at a cost of around 32 million GB pounds
